Neutralene BIO 1000

NEUTRALENE® BIO 1000 is formulated on vegetable (plant based) esters.  It is the best compromise between petroleum oil-based and vegetable oil-based cleaners

NEUTRALENE® BIO 1000 easily replaces petroleum-based solvents, which can be volatile and flammable. It is used pure, and either cold or hot (up to 80°C), in parts washers, cleaning benches, with ultrasonic or any manual processing. It also offers a solution far more accomplished than the methyl esters of vegetable oils, often proposed for degreasing fountains but difficult to implement (incompatible with the rubber materials and too greasy).  NSF approved.

•  Compared to petroleum solvents, NEUTRALENE® BIO 1000 improves the safety of equipment and users, and reduces environmental impact:
•  Very high flash point: NEUTRALENE® BIO 1000 is not concerned by the EU directive 99/92/EC and is ATEX Certification (Directive 94/9/EC) exempt.
•  Free from VOC and still evaporates. Contrary to natural vegetable oil-based esters which are very greasy, NEUTRALENE® BIO 1000 can be used in the same way as conventional solvent-based degreasers.
•  Readily biodegradable: reduces the impact on the environment if accidentally released. It is consistent with the requirements of the European REACH regulation.
•  Non-volatile: contains no solvent vapours making it user friendly.
•  No irritating or sensitizing effect: reduces the risk of skin reactions (dryness, chapping, redness), though the use of gloves is still recommended (removed soils can be dangerous).
• High compatibility for a safe use with pieces made of different materials.

High Performance

NEUTRALENE® BIO 1000 has both high performance with a high level of safety:

• High ability to dissolve oily and greasy dirt (calculated KB index = 50).
• Its enhanced wetting power (low surface tension and viscosity) allows it to easily remove soils and grease, even on complex surfaces.
• NEUTRALENE® BIO 1000 allows a fast removal of pollutants thanks to its high molecular weight and low density, giving an extended lifetime before saturation.
• High chemical stability. It does not age prematurely by acidification in the presence of traces of water or by air oxidation.
• Does not release any volatile organic compounds, but leaves a very temporary residual film that gradually evaporates.
• It is totally compatible with paints and nitrile rubber (NBR) seals.

NEUTRALENE® BIO 1000 is efficient in eliminating all types of used lubricants (mineral, plant or synthetic), even those charged with particles, except per-fluorinated lubricants. It also removes full and soluble cutting oils, corrosion protective oils and waxes, bituminous coatings and deposits, residues of mould release agents used in plastic processing industries.
